Step 3: DSTs

This is the screen where you can provide all of the DSTs that your program needs to access.

Please Note:  Only one record and no stand alone DSTs can be selected for Read/Write or Read Only.  For DSTs in Read At Load mode, you can select any number of records or stand alone DSTs.

 

DST Edit Area
The first box is the DST name, then 2nd is the data type, the 3rd is the mode.  The following modes are available:

Read / Write:  This is for the record you are using in your program.  These DSTs are updated and added.
Read Only:  This DST mode is read with each layer read, but is never written by the generated program.
Read At Load:  These DSTs are read only once at the program load.  You may include stand alones and multiple records.

DST List
This is the list of the DSTs that your program uses.

Add New
This adds a new DST to the list.

Delete
This deletes the selected DST from the list.

Import from DST Listing
This will build your DST list from a DST Listing generated from DST Maintenance (.1.5)

Clear
Clears the DST Listing

Previous
This will take you back to the Select Program Type & Options screen.

Next
This will take you to the Provide Custom Script screen.

Exit
This will exit Code Magic.
